LIFESPAN requires all new hires to complete a week long new hire orientation which consists of the LIFESPAN philosophy, information about specific developmental disabilities, lifting techniques, CPR and First Aid, safety and more. In addition, LIFESPAN offers training courses in three content areas; Direct Care Staff Development, Management Development and Health and Safety. LIFESPAN has training requirements for all staff at every level of the organization and is dedicated to the continuing education and excellence of all employees.
