How You Can Help
LifeSpan Farm - TRC receives no Federal, State, or health insurance funding and must rely upon corporate and individual contributions, grants, and the proceeds from fund-raising events to underwrite operational expenses. While a nominal fee of $30.00 per lesson is charged to riders (the actual cost is over $120 per lesson), a large number are unable to pay this fee. Your financial support is what allows LifeSpan Farm - TRC to subsidize 75% of the actual cost of lessons. This is a top priority for us as many of our families are already burdened with the high expenses related to the rider's disability.
Here's how your gift of cash will help LifeSpan Farm - TRC:
$30 – tuition for one riding lesson
$55 – provides one horse a pedicure and new shoes (about every 6 weeks)
$180 – tuition for one riding session (6 weeks)
$425 – one month’s love and tender care of a horse
$900 – tuition for one year of riding (September – June)
Horse’N Around Club Fund
Over the course of a year, the cost of feed, shavings, shoes, standard veterinary care, and other expenses for our program horses add up to over $5,000 per horse. We therefore invite you to partner with LifeSpan Farm – TRC in the care of our amazing therapy herd, and sponsor a LifeSpan Farm – TRC horse!
Horse’N Around Club Fund levels:
v Bronze - $ 100
v Silver - $ 500
v Gold - $1,000
v Platinum - $2,500
v Diamond - $5,000

Jockey Club Fund
Through generous donations from corporations, local businesses, civic organizations, foundations and individual donors LifeSpan Farm - Therapeutic Riding Center is able to offer financial assistance to individuals who could benefit from therapeutic horseback riding that otherwise could not afford it. We therefore invite you to partner with LifeSpan Farm - TRC in donating at a level that is appropriate for you!
Jockey Club Fund levels:
v Apprentice - $180 for six lessons
v Freelance - $360 for twelve lessons
v Bug Boy - $540 for eighteen lessons
v Silk - $720 for twenty-four lessons
v Master - $900 for thirty lessons

In Kind Services
Improvements to the program are able to happen from businesses lending a hand with their services. If you have a service to offer from tree trimming, electrical, to marketing, or anything in between we would welcome the opportunity to work with you.
