Current Events:
LifeSpan Waynesville is currently in development of their new Art program. We have recently hired Suzanne Gernandt, an extremely experienced local artist, who will be working with the program to develop our new art program.
The program also continues to work toward moving into its new location on Main Street in Waynesville. This transition will provide us with the opportunity to increase program visibility and to offer new and diverse training options for the individual whom we support.
Success Story:
In an effort to adopt a "continuous improvement" philosophy, the program has continued to adjust, adapt and thrive as changes have occurred at LifeSpan, Waynesville. Recently, Miranda Bryson, Program Coordinator, spoke with representatives from the new Wal-Mart supercenter preparing to open for business here in Waynesville. The retail supercenter donated $2500 to the LifeSpan program and multiple LifeSpan individuals and team members were allowed the opportunity to tour the new store prior to its grand opening!!!!
