LIFESPAN offers Residential Services for individuals with varied support needs and preferences.
Currently LIFESPAN offers residential services through 4 ICF/IID Group homes, 11 Innovations Group Homes, and 16 Alternative Family Living Homes. Staff providing residential services are First Aid and CPR certified, and are trained to ensure the safety of the residents and respect the residents’ rights as shareholders in their home.
The 24-hour group home staff provides specialized therapies, recreational and leisure activities, and training and assistance with social skills, personal health and hygiene. The men and women in the home may choose to take part in their community by volunteering, attending religious services, and enrolling in continuing education classes.
In addition to residential homes, LIFESPAN offers Respite services that provide periodic support for primary caregivers of from the responsibility and stress of caring for adults with disabilities. Respite services may include in and out-of-home services, community activities, and may include overnight services.
